Crisitano Piccini completes move to Valencia from Sporting CP
Sporting full-back Claudio Piccini has been officially unveiled as a Valencia player, signing for a fee of £8million.
Piccini had only arrived at the Lisbon club in the summer of 2017 and, despite signing a long-term contract with the side at the start of his Sporting career, has moved on after just a single season.
It was an impressive campaign for the former Real Betis right back, playing 24 league games in total for the Leões and, in addition to showing good defensive ability, showed his ability on the ball when attacking from his deep starting position, getting involved in many attacking moves.
