Nuno Santos completes move to Sporting CP
Sporting CP have completed the signing of Rio Ave winger Nuno Santos.
The 25-year old, who joined FC Porto at the age of 10 and represented Sporting’s Lisbon rivals Benfica from 2013 to 2017, has done a good job at Rio Ave, with whom he has been with since 2017.
Santos join Sporting for a fee in the region of 4 million euros, with Gelson Dala, who was on loan at Rio Ave last year, moving in the opposite direction on a permanent deal alongside Francisco Geraldes.
Overall, the former U21 Portugal international has played 78 games for Rio Ave from the wing, scoring 10 goals and assisting a further 11.
He played 38 games for Rio Ave last season across all competitions, finding the back of the net 5 times. He also got 7 assists to his name in that time too.
