Sporting still in for Arsenal's Lucas Perez

Sporting are still in negotiations to sign Arsenal's forward Lucas Perez who has found game time very hard to come by at the London club.

Arsenal, who have appointed Unai Emery as their new manager this season, have a strong group of players in the attacking department, and Perez is deemed surplus to requirements. 

Sporting, meanwhile, are keen to strengthen their squad as they look towards the new season, with forward Seydou Doumbia set to leave the club, while they have also already lost Gelson Martins to Atletico Madrid.
